Mud and grass sure beat dog food any day!

Blackjack Road in Jackson

Who knew LB could move like that. Brittany paused mid-song to remind him that his mother was in the audience.

Lazy Daisy & Ellie

The girls are being very lazy on this hot, February day. Its almost 80 outside.

I guess Ellie was in a silly mood . Daisy makes a good pillow.

Two More Down...

Derek and I have been working on painting the bathrooms in our house these past few days. The color we chose is a lighter, softer version of the yellow in our living room. I really like it.

Say Hello to Martin

This is my new friend Martin. He is the fattest squirrel I have ever seen, although in this photo he looks rather slim. Martin's favorite activity is sitting around the squirrel feeder eating corn ALL DAY LONG. He and his girlfriend Samantha have gone through all of their food in 2 weeks. Derek and I thought the food would last at least a month or longer. The mess that these two make attracts all sorts of birds to my yard. One afternoon I counted 10 male cardinals, 6 female cardinals, 2 blue jays, 2 wood peckers, and a whole flock of cute little brown birds all pecking around at the same time.

Blackjack Road in Hattiesburg

I can't believe I didn't get any good shots of LB playing this time. You'll just have to settle for this one with me in it.

The Bottling Co. is really a neat place with tons of vintage charm, including the front half of an old VW bug.

Happy New Year!

I'm only a few days late posting this one.
The fireworks displays in our neighborhood were rediculous. Thousands of dollars and one Christmas tree went up in smoke around the stroke of midnight. Derek and I sat out front and enjoyed the near 30 minute display. The little girls, especially Ellie, weren't too keen on it though.
Happy New Year!

This was the photo I used for my Christmas cards this year.

Christmas Card Photo Shoot

The reject photos are the most interesting and funny shots of all. Ellie goes into a stubborn dogatonic state whenever she has clothes on, but Daisy couldn't care less.
I guess the ribbons looked more like toys than holiday decoration. They didn't last very long.
